Ali Bongo is in hospital in Paris at the present time. He fainted just before delivering a lecture and it was suggested to him that he should have a pacemaker fitted. He didn't want to do that in France and was hoping to be home for last weekend.


Unfortunately he has now had a stroke and is very unwell but in a stable condition. I am in constant contact with his niece, who is out in Paris with him, and I will continue to post any changes here.
