It is with great sadness that I must inform you that the founder of the Young Magicians Club, Vice-President Richard Stupple, died in the early hours of Sunday 11th November.

YMC owes its very existence to Richard Stupple’s perseverance and hard work during its formative years. It was Richard who battled for it to be agreed on as part of The Magic Circle Youth Initiative and he was its first Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. Richard was very proud of the way the acorn he’d planted was continuing to grow into a sturdy sapling over the past eleven years.

He will be greatly missed by the organisation team as well as the members of the Young Magicians Club. Personally I have lost a great friend and mentor who has guided me throughout my time with The Magic Circle.
